iTouch…? Really?
You Know I’ve confronted several people about this issue to get to the bottom of where the term “iTouch” came from, and every conversation has pretty much ended the same way. Each time, I am Laughed at by Whomever I am speaking to because they absolutely insist that the official name is the iTouch, and that there is no such thing as an iPod Touch, and that i am nothing more, then an Apple/Ipod Noob (they have no idea how wrong they are). Just about everyone who calls it an iTouch, is oblivious to the fact that the actual name is iPod Touch. And yeah, thats pisses me off as well
I totally agree. I hate people that call it iTouch.
But in the defense of the noobs that can’t tell the difference, the new iPod headphones also have the earpiece deal on them now too, so it’s not really an accurate determination. Nonetheless, I agree.
Okay, so Eric and I were talking before about how we hate that people call iPod Touches “iTouches.” Where this came from I don’t know. Is it that much harder to say iPod Touch? If you want to save your breath, but sound dumb, say “iTouch.” I guess it was spawned when novices would ask “is that an iPhone or iTouch?” When obviously there are aesthetic differences, including the EARPIECE for the iPhone, HINT HINT. Well anyway, I hate the word iTouch. I can’t stand it at all. iPod Touch, iPod, MP3 Player, whatever, just not iTouch. Thanks.
