Right. Like I can understand if he was naked, there could be little kids there and they need to get him out as fast as possible. But he’s fully clothed, just goofing around. Just grab the kid, jeez.
Yeah well if you actually watch the video of the event….there are numerous Guys who were TRYING to catch him, but 17 y/o kids are most likely in better shape….its a simple thing theres a rule against running on the field, don’t run on the field, and you wont get in trouble, or in this case tased….there options were as follows….
1) leave him alone……yeah not going to happen, dont forget this delay in game cost MLB alot of money, even if its just to broadcast a longer game
2) catch him and remove him….well thats what they were trying to do, and failed. they just couldnt catch him
3) stun him with a taser and remove him…..its actually pretty logical
Plus lets not forget that in a security job or police job, you always ALWAYS have to expect the worst, cuz the one time you dont and you let your guard down, that just may be the time that a gun is pulled on you or someone else, ending in a very tragic and unessicary death…
And yes he was 17, but I highly doubt the kid was a saint, cuz flat out no one is. And lets not be naive….17, or any aged teen can and has caused major damage b4…..remember Columbine?
