I love apple and everything they make, but that ipad? its one of the coolest gadgets out there. but there is no real point. I’m personally pissed theres no foward facing camera because i love the video chat, and am still waiting for one on the iphone, now i know thats not a huge deal to most people, but what is, is the fact that a “better internet device then even a laptop” according to steve jobs, uhhhh…like the iphone doesn’t allow flash, the internet is pretty lame without flash. so thne whats the point. the point of this device is to make apple money. its to support the new ibooks program, apple is hoping to make just as much money in ibooks as they do in itunes, or even the app store. and since everyone isn’t interested in an ebook reader they just kinda threw all the features of an iphone into it. I’m a fanatic about the keynote speeches that are given by apple. i never go online the day of a keynote until the keynote video is posted because I want to see things introduced without spoilers. but the last one i watched. the whole thing seemed like a giant sales pitch on “why I need this product”. Usually apple doesn’t have to convince you, its just there and you want it. is it cool? of course. revolutionary? not so much. practical? for a few people. is it worth me buying personally? not a chance.
